The Gujarat Titans, the current champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), have retained most of their team for the upcoming season. Hardik Pandya's team will consist of 18 players from the previous season's roster, with only six players being released before the mini-auction on December 23.
The Gujarat Titans have made some changes to their team ahead of the upcoming cricket season. They have traded wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz and pacer Lockie Ferguson, both of whom were released, to Kolkata Knight Riders. Additionally, they have let go of four other players, namely Gurkeerat Singh, Jason Roy, Varun Aaron, and Dominic Drakes.
The team is looking to build on their strong performance from the previous year and repeat their success in the upcoming season. Fans are still buzzing about their incredible win against the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 on May 29, 2022, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where they won by 7 wickets. The previous season's winners are working hard to defend their title and come out on top once again.
The Gujarat Titans team is owned by CVC Capital Partners. With the new team lineup and management, the Titans are ready to take on the competition and make their mark in the upcoming season.
