T20 World Cup Champions So Far

When people search for T20 World Cup champions, they usually want quick clarity. Who won, how many times, and which teams actually dominate this format. The history of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup clearly shows that this tournament doesn’t always reward consistency. One good campaign is enough to become champion, but repeating that success is rare.

So far, only a few teams have managed to win the T20 World Cup more than once. Some strong teams have reached finals multiple times but failed to lift the trophy again. This is why the T20 World Cup winners list is often discussed before every new edition, including the T20 World Cup 2026, because past champions usually start as favourites.
