Global T20 Canada 2023: Prize Money & Winner List

The Global T20 Canada 2023 cricket tournament returned after a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19. The T20 competition was held from July 20 to August 6 at the TD Cricket Arena in Brampton, Ontario.

This was the 3rd edition of Global T20 Canada. Six teams participated – Vancouver Knights, Toronto Nationals, Montreal Tigers, Winnipeg Hawks, Edmonton Royals, and Calgary Spartans.

Two new franchises – Surrey Jaguars and Mississauga Panthers – replaced Edmonton Royals and Winnipeg Hawks this year. With a salary cap of $579,500 per team, the player draft took place on June 14 in Mumbai.

After a long wait, fans were excited to see top international cricket stars back in action on Canadian soil. Global T20 Canada aims to grow cricket’s popularity and reach in North America. The tournament provided high-quality T20 cricket entertainment for audiences worldwide.
